Hi – I’m Taa Dixon, founder of 720MEDIA, a website design and marketing firm located in Colorado Springs, CO. Voted best web developers in Colorado Springs, our core business is web design and online marketing, and we offer print marketing services as well.
Prior to starting 720MEDIA on June 1, 2000, I spent several years working for the United States Golf Association. Through the USGA’s $50 million For the Good of the Game Grants Initiative, I managed grants for 14 states in the Western region and received national exposure on NBC. Earning “Top 40 Under 40″ honors from Golfweek magazine, I was honored for a nation-wide Native American junior golf initiative I organized, which is still in existence today. The people and experiences I gained on the national level continue to impact my web marketing business 720MEDIA.
A graduate of Colorado College, I received my bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in urban studies. I loved my time at CC and discovered a world of opportunities through experiences like spending a semester in Chicago, writing and receiving grants to fund independent research projects, and making documentary films.
After graduation, I began my professional career in Chicago where I landed a television production job at WTTW, Channel 11. I love this city and ended up living in Chicago three different times.
One of these days I will add some photo albums to this site documenting some of my traveling adventures throughout some of my favorite places in Europe, Portugal, Laos and Spain.
