Hi - I’m Taa Dixon, founder of 720MEDIA, a website design and marketing firm located in Colorado Springs, CO. Voted best web developers in Colorado Springs, our core business is web design and online marketing, and we offer print marketing services as well.
A 1994 graduate of Colorado College, I received my bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in urban studies. I loved my time at CC and discovered a world of opportunities through experiences like spending a semester in Chicago, writing and receiving grants to fund independent research projects, and making documentary films.
Right after graduation, I began my professional career in Chicago where I landed a television production job at WTTW, Channel 11. I lived in a small studio apartment, took the subway to work, and had experiences that transformed my thinking and changed my life. I ended up living in Chicago three different times, and I love going back to visit.
I spent some time traveling abroad on several different occasions, and particularly enjoyed my adventures in Portugal, Laos and Spain.
Prior to starting 720MEDIA on June 1, 2000, I spent several years working for the United States Golf Association. Through the USGA’s $50 million For the Good of the Game Grants Initiative, I managed grants for 14 states in the Western region and received national exposure on NBC. Earning “Top 40 Under 40″ honors from Golfweek magazine, I was honored for a nation-wide Native American junior golf initiative I organized, which is still in existence today. The people and experiences I gained on the national level continue to impact my web marketing business 720MEDIA.
